I was planting some veggies and I thought I would clear out a spot in the back flowerbed and plant something there. Then I thought that I was really sick of Cali and Coby going potty on the bricks. I do walk them but they have to go somewhere when it is raining or when I can't walk them. Cali will go in the front yard but also is getting older and can't hold it when she is in the backyard. TMI? Anyway I decided to plant a bit of grass there instead and see if they use it. Keep your fingers crossed for me!
Our back door to storage is metal and ugly. The trim on the bottom that is brown has been chewed on by Coby, the paint is flaking, and it has a small rusted out spot on the bottom. So I am in the process of making it pretty again. I removed the trim and won't put it back on. I have scraped it and now just have to prime and paint. If it quits raining I will get it done and post the results. I am planning to paint the front door too and all the wood door trim.
Loni had a project to do for a book report. She wanted to make a paper mache cave. Here it is all done after she did the report. We think she did a really good job on the report and a really great job on her project. Too bad we don't have a huge house to store this huge cave. Anyone want it?:)

I don't know if I need that, but it is the link to the picture above. Since my sister Jody needed to get on pinterest I got an account and have started looking and adding things to my boards. It is pretty fun I must say! Yes kind of addicting. I like it more than facebook, sorry people, I like this more. Anyway I saw this picture of a triple bunk bed! I asked Rick what he thought and he likes it too! The only problem.....you can't buy it. Someone made it and submitted the picture. So now I am trying to figure out how to make it or how to get someone to make plans for me to build it or for someone to build it for me! Tyce wouldn't be able to sleep in it yet, but within a year I think he would. Isn't it great?!

cool bunk bed. i saw when you pinned that one. good luck on your design. :) so has the cave gone away yet? i'm glad she did well. i'm impressed with your paper mache skills. that thing is huge. maybe you could sell it as a cave pinata? good luck with your other projects too. sounds like its spring cleaning/sprucing up time over there. i've been feeling like throwing stuff out lately or rearranging stuff! haven't done anything yet though.

I love pinterest too. WAY better than facebook :) {Although you can tell when it's a rainy day in Idaho because I'm clogging up the boards} ;) Wish I could help with the bed... It's super cute, and I could see a lot of slumber parties happening there!
Love the small patch of grass! ha ha! I hope the dogs use it! Loni's project was great!!! And that triple bunk bed was the bomb! I want one! Perfect for my 3 boys!!!! If you ever find anyone who can build it let me know!!!
I love the bunk beds too... you would definitely have to put it in Loni's room because that is the only place where you have a corner without a window or a closet unless you redesigned it to fit in Ada's room. Think about it and then you wouldn't have to take all the storage out of Loni's room. I was thinking that you could have the shortest bed under the window and two bunks on the wall by the closet..I don't know. I love the cave. I wish I could see it in person but I understand why you have to get rid of it. I think it is a masterpiece. The patch of grass is hilarious. You might have to replace it frequently if you ever get Coby to use it too. Good post. Love, Mom
