Thanksgiving...

So this year for Thanksgiving we spent a couple days driving and a couple days in Pennsylvania at Rick's brothers house. Lee, Becca, and their 3 children were a lot of fun to hang out with. The kids had fun playing together, these are all the Bingham grandchildren. Thanks Lee and Becca. Have a safe trip moving!
Today all the kids and dads got dressed up to go play outside in the very cold. Ada borrowed a coat because we forgot hers. Anyway as you can see she is like the little boy on "The Christmas Story" where he could barely move in his snowsuit and then of course he gets knocked over and can't get up. Well I was taking these from inside the house....but you could tell what was happening. Ada slowly was tipping over and then.....

Yep, she fell over. Laid there for a bit, tried to get up, couldn't, and her dad came over to help her get up. It was hilarious.

Here are all the kids again for a photo op. Dahlton was not impressed with all the photo ops. He kept covering his eyes with his hat. Ada didn't seem very happy either, but well she couldn't get up to get away! Ha ha!

Cora and Loni had a lot of fun together. Here they had dressed up. Loni was upset when she found out that we were leaving, she wanted to stay longer.

Ada loves her chair and clapping!

Loni's pic of herself.

Ada loves to climb on things. All things she can find to climb on she climbs on them. She would climb on this chair but usually would get a leg through the bar and be sitting sideways and eventually need help to get out. Well today I think she finally figured out how to sit in it correctly. She has been clapping for a while but lately she has really figured out

if she does it we clap and smile at her, which she loves.

Another Trip....

Ada and I took another trip...but we flew clear to Salt Lake City to see my friend Erin get married. It was a quick trip but it was so worth it. I love my friend Erin and I wouldn't have missed it. Ada was a trooper. We flew in Wednesday, did wedding stuff all Thursday, and flew home Friday!
Erin got married to Shawn in the Salt Lake City Temple. It is such a beautiful place. I followed them around while they got their pictures taken by Erin's friend Tania and it was so much fun. They got such great photos. I love digital because Tania could show me what they all looked like. Erin better be sending me a few copies!

Here is Erin, her new husband, Shawn, and their children, Zach and Erin. Aren't they so cute! Zach and Erin made them name tags that said mom and dad and Erin and Shawn had them pinned on their clothes at the reception. We wish them all the best as a new Eternal Family!

Mini-vacation to Great Wolf Lodge.....

Thanks to the Navy we were able to take a little vacation for the weekend to the Great Wolf Lodge. It was quite a treat. We enjoyed ourselves. This was one of the activities, story time.
Ada seemed to enjoy it until the wolf came and touched her hand....then she cried. Sorry we didn't get a photo. I was getting my hair done and so Rick had to console her.

Loni sitting with some of her friends that were also there. She took dance with Grace as well.

Loni got to do a Magi-Quest. They didn't get it all the way done....but they put in good effort and had fun doing it. Loni got a "real" wand, but wishes it would still work at home.

Loni also enjoyed the sleeping arrangements. She slept upstairs and had her own room, bathroom, and tv. She felt very grown-up and even got to stay up late, despite my wishes. Daddy let her. It was a lot of fun still.

more vacation....

Ada walking the halls...
I got a pedicure and a haircut! I feel like a new....me!

Loni our little waterbug. She loves to swim.

Ada loves the water as well, but is really not scared of any of it.

She was so happy walking around in it. If it wasn't so chlorinated she probably would live in it!

Look Jo.....yours cries, mine hums

video

So Jody posted Joss's reaction to her vacuum and Joss cries and runs from it. Ada usually plays with ours. Stands on it, hugs its, kisses it......she also sings/hums when it is on. She is so darn cute! She doesn't do near the damage to my leg when I am on the computer as Joss does. That one may be a funniest home video!

more pics

Hey mom! Here is my finished Pecan bars. They are yummy and worked very well. I think if I refrigerated them a bit before I cut them they may have worked even better. I plan to make and take some to the ladies I visit.
Bowling as a family is fun! I did really bad though...Rick beat me by 2 pins!

Rick working with Loni about how to throw the ball. She was listening.

Loni trying out the granny shot. The ball went about 1 mph.
