For Rick's work we got to go to Washington D.C. to a hotel on the Potomac. We go to a few classes with speakers and the kids go to a daycare. They get to play with the other kids and do lots of projects. One of the nights they had face painting for the kids. We went swimming a couple hours later so they didn't have them long. Oh well.

Tyce spent most of the time on his Dad's shoulders. If he was down on the ground he was all over the place. He is quite the walker/runner. I hope he slows down a bit for my sake.
This was the water and light show. They had Christmas music playing as well. It was really quite pretty. The place is huge!
We were in 2 of these rooms. :) Luckily only the 3rd floor so we used the stairs a lot. The elevators took forever!
Tyce on his Dad's shoulders again. I think he is eating? The outside of the hotel was really pretty as well. All the trees on the property were covered in white lights. Tons and tons. I love white lights.

It does look fancy and beautiful and the kids look lovely in their painted faces and Tyce looks well contained on his father's shoulders. Is Rick's neck sore? He is a good daddy for managing the wild man. Thanks for sharing. I will call tomorrow and talk to you about your weekend. Love, Mom
looks like it was a fun time! hope you guys are reconnected now. :) when i make it out there one day, i think we should go on a retreat too.
