We swung by the Grand Canyon.......It was very big and beautiful. It also gave me a chance to play with my camera and try to take decent photos.
Here is Loni happy as can be! She didn't want her photo taken obviously. I almost threw her off the edge, but decided that would ruin the trip.
Grandma (mom) wouldn't go near the edge, but we found this nifty building with windows she could look out of. This is the only pic of her and the Grand. Sorry it didn't turn out better.

I just loved the Grand Canyon even if I wouldn't get close to the edge. To me, it is just overwhelming and makes me a bit dizzy. Loni smiled plenty of time while we were there...you just didn't catch her at the right moments. Thanks for encouraging us to make the diversion in our usual trip home. It was tiring but really worth it. Love, Mom
