Ada's new past time....stealing the TV remotes. We took the batteries out of one today to let her play with it. She quit playing with it and came over begging. Rick gave her another remote and she didn't want it. I told him she wanted the battery for the other one and when he gave it to her, she walked off with it happy. Weird. She only wants to play with remotes that are useful?
So we went to our ward Christmas party on Saturday. They had the primary children sing a couple songs. How cute are they?
Ada found friends to help her destroy the decorations.....no pigs or ornaments were injured.
And the piece de resistance(?), Ada met the big guy and did not like him. Do you think they know that the real reason for Christmas is Christ, so they cry when they see Santa? Who knows?

her hair is getting so long!!! you could probably do small pig tails now. :) funny about the remotes. joss loves them too but doesn't care if they work. i have a handful of ones that aren't really in use so she has a basket of them.

I think Ada might be a tease and she is just progressing to taking them and changing the channels just to drive you all crazy. I don't think you are going to be able to trick that kid very easy. The kids are not trying to destroy the ornaments... they are designed to attract attention and babies just respond to that attraction. They don't know that they should only look. If it attracts them they know they should touch. Touching is so much more satisfying- they think. It takes a while to learn touching everything can be dangerous and disappointing. Thanks for the new post... I love seeing updates of the kids. The Santa thought is pretty typical. she might not like him nest year either... but by the next year, she will be as interested as she is frightened. The progression is pretty funny and amazing.
