If you know Ada this is how you see her most of the time....looking away from you. She is so funny.
This is how Loni's sunflower looks now. It is huge! My neighbor watching our animals said my other neighbor asked her if I would mind if he cut down our weed. She laughed and replied that it wasn't a weed it was a sunflower and it was Loni's and she would mind.

I thought it was time for me to make a comment and even to look at blogs. It has been hard to not be self aborbed with this wound and still get things done and then do the "little pleasure" things like looking at blogs. I was thinking that you might have to post an armed guard to watch over that "Russian" Sunflower. That is what it is and it is a really good specimen of it. Aparently they prefer a certain amount of neglect or solitude to reach their full potential. Weed, indeed. Love, Mom
